Review
WinOverBoost is a program to optimize your system's configuration. This program allows you to manage your RAM, optimizing the swap file and the cache. It's also able to boost the general performance of your system by tweaking some registry values. The program will apply different settings, according to your version of Windows. The Cache Boost Performance will only work under Windows 98. "Internet Acceleration" will change some parameters in your system in order to enhance your Internet connection speed. "Lan Optimizer" will enhance your Local Area Network's performance. You can see a log of the memory defragmentation procedures that the program did through the "Defrag Activity Monitor". Any action performed by WinOverBoost can be undone, restoring the default values to the registry in case anything goes wrong. When minimized, the program will display on the system tray an icon that will show cyclically the CPU Use percentage, the RAM usage percentage, and if AutoDefrag is turned on or off. Right clicking over the tray icon will let you open the program's options. |
